It is only when we understand the real purpose of our existence in this life that then the big picture starts to become much clearer to see and a lot easier to understand. Only then our life becomes a lot more enjoyable and truly purposeful and complete... Unlike the meaningless, purposeless materialistic life that we once endured without tasting real happiness...
Most people would have asked themselves, or indeed others, the very common question of "How our existence - and that of the universe - came to being?"
Many theories and explanations have been explored & studied in great depth in an attempt to answer the above one question. Throughout history, to this day and for as long we continue to exist, endless debates in support or against various possibilities versus others continue to remain an inseparable part of human cultures, religions, schools of thought and philosophies...
However, without undervaluing the importance of the "How" question, I think we may have been asking ourselves the wrong question for a long time!!
What we really should be focussing on is the "Why" question!!
Why are we here in this world?? What purpose are we fulfilling, or meant to fulfill, by our existence??
Some of us argue that life has no purpose at all. Our existence in their view is a mere collection of series of complex coincidental reactions... No more!!
That's all... No purpose to our life, NONE!! We should all just enjoy life as much as we can before we die and vanish in thin air!!
However tempting it might be... I do not subscribe to this view. I do believe that life does indeed have a purpose!!! An important one too!!!!!
How come??
The extremely powerful and utterly complex design of every single living being, the miraculously delicate harmony between all kinds of lifeforms known to us, and the overwhelming complexity of the universe structure are all too much to be accepted as the result of a mere coincidence or even series of coincidences!!!
Anyone of average intelligence would automatically accept that a car or a TV do not manufacture themselves, for believing so would simply be extremely foolish and irrational to say the least!!!
That same person would also accept, without questioning, that the tiniest of insects - let alone the human body - is far more complexly designed than the most modern and futuristic car or TV!!!
Yet that very same person - and many others - would find great difficulty in accepting that our life, and this whole universe, have been carefully designed and created by a much superior force!! A force that has the power, knowledge and understanding to plan, design and create this amazing world!!!
Such power surely doesn't create life just for fun, nor does it do so without purpose...
We are collectively here for a shared common purpose...
In addition, each and everyone of us has their own individual and unique purpose that no one else shares with them!!!
We will never find real happiness until we have understood our purpose in life...
So let us work on it...
